A Narayanganj court has sentenced to 1 year in jail Narayanganj city’s Ward No 4 councillor Nur Hossain in a case filed under Wildlife Preservation (Amendment) Act. Senior Judicial Magistrate HM Shafiqul Islam passed the order on Tuesday. Nur Hossain, the prime accused in Narayanganj 7-murder case, is now in a Kolkata jail on charge of trespass and illegally possessing firearms.
