Weather is likely to remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country today (Tuesday).

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and northern parts of Bangladesh and light to moderate fog elsewhere over the country during midnight until morning, Met office said.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division the regions of Srimangal, Khulna, Satkhira, Jessore, Kushtia, Rajshahi, Pabna, Rangamati, Madaripur and Barisal, and it may continue.

Night temperature may rise by (1-2) degrees Celsius and day temperature may rise slightly over the country.

Country's highest temperature 27.0 degrees Celsius was recorded Monday in Sylhet and the lowest 6.8 degrees at Srimangal.

The highest temperature in Dhaka Monday was 24.6 degrees Celsius while the lowest was 13.2 degrees.

The sun sets in the capital today (Tuesday) at 5:43pm and rises tomorrow (Wednesday) at 6:40 am.
