The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Monday interrogated six officials of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) as part of its investigation into the non-funded part of the Sonali Bank loan scam. Non-funded loans are the loans that are taken in the form of guarantee against letters of credit (L/Cs) while funded loans are received in cash. An ACC inquiry team started grilling the SJIBL officials at about 10:00 am and continued until 5:00 pm at the ACC headquarters, sources said. — UNB
