CHUADANGA, Jan 28: Two motorcyclists were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a motorbike and a human hauler in front of a filling station on Jibannagar-Dattonagar road under Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga district Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Atiar Rahman (48), son of Abdul Khalek of village Puraton Bazar para of Damurhuda upazila and Faisal (22), son of Farhad Hossain of Rasulbag of Mohakhali under Dhaka district.

Sources said the accident took place when Atiar and his relative Faisal were going to Dattonagar by a motorcycle. While they reached near Nasir filling station a human hauler coming from opposite direction dashed them, leaving Atiar dead on the spot and three others seriously injured.

Of the injured Faisal was rushed to Jibannagar Health complex and later died on way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

A case was filed with Jibannagar police station in this connection.
