KHULNA, Jan 28: The first batch of Junior School Certificate (JSC) is going to sit for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination, which begins on February 3 across the country.

According to sources, a total of 6,702 students will appear in the examination under Jessore Education Board this year against a total of 8,096 examinees last year from Khulna city and the examination will be held at 38 centres. The number of examinees comes down by about 1,394 this year compared to that of the previous year, official source said.

Admit cards have already been sent to the examinees' respective schools. The highest number of SSC examinees will appear in the examination from Khulna Zila School.
