Bangladesh hockey team is going to play in the 2nd round of the FIH Hockey World League (HWL) beginning in Delhi, India on February 18 and a 26-member training camp will begin from January 5 in this regard, reports UNB.

Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) said that 26 players were being selected primarily for the HWL Round 2 and they were asked to report to the Head Coach Mahbub Harun and Assistant Coach Zahurul Islam Mitul on Jan 5 at 3:00 pm.

Players: Zahid Hossain (GK Abahani), Ashim Kumar Gope (GK Usha KC), Asaduzzaman Chandan, Hasan Zubair Niloy, Pushkar Khisa Mimo and Iqbal Nadir Prince from Abahani; Moshiur Rahman Biplob, Mamunur Rahman Chayon, Imran Hasan Pintu, Tapash Barman, Russell Mahmud Jimmy, Kamruzzaman Rana and Sheikh Mohammed Nannu from Mohammedan SC; Moinul Islam Koushik, Khorshedur Rahman, Sarwar Hossain and Farhad Ahmed Shitul from Usha KC; Rokanuzzaman Sohag, Sabbir Rana and Abdul Malek from Army; Zahid Bin Talib Shuvo and Mohammad Russell from Navy;

Zabbar Monir (Air Force), Krishna Kumar (Rajshahi), Irfanul Haque (Sonali Bank) and Khalid Bin Walid (Mariners).
